Introducing our New Special Interest Group - Biofilm!

The Biofilm SIG aims to cover the comprehensive spectrum of biofilm research and application. The complex interactions within biofilms and their environments pose significant challenges across multiple sectors including healthcare, agriculture, food processing, and water treatment. Recent advances in microbiological research and technology provide new opportunities to understand and control biofilms. The activities of the Biofilm SIG will reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the field, focusing on cutting edge research through to translation for practical outcomes
